Lapsang Souchong is a distinct and exclusive smoked black tea. This tea is produced in Fujian, China and the smoked pine flavor comes from the process where the tea leaves are smoke-dried over pinewood fires.
Serve with honey and milk to compliment the smoky flavor, or use the tea leaves to smoke duck, oysters, and cocktails. This tea is bold yet versatile. Add a pinch of this tea to add smoky flavor to other teas, such as Earl Grey.
Steep at 212 degrees for 4-5 minutes.
*Note: Every 2 ounces (oz.) of tea can brew approximately 20 cups. (i.e. 2 oz. = 20 cups, 4 oz. = 40 cups, etc.)
